The story of a DoorDash driver who wouldn’t give a man his food because he only gave her an $8 tip for delivery has gone viral.
The Ring camera caught the woman yelling at the man for the small tip after she walked 12.5 miles to get the food. The video, which has been watched nearly 1 million times on YouTube, shows the woman yelling at the man.
The woman said that the man “must not know” how far she had to travel to get the food.
She said that she had to drive to Commack, Long Island, to get the tasty food, and then drive to Smithtown, which she said took her 40 minutes.
The man said that the trip should have taken only 15 to 20 minutes.
It’s not, you need to try and drive it. I just drove it, it’s 40 minutes. It’s 12 and a half miles,
said the angry driver.
What the h–l are you looking for? I gave an $8 tip,
said the man when the woman asked him to adjust the tip.
The woman then said she was going to give the food back and started to leave.
