Last month, it was announced that Taylor Kinney would be leaving the long-running NBC show Chicago Fire, and a new report says that his last episode may have already aired.
On the drama series, the 41-year-old actor plays Lieutenant Kelly Severide. He has been with the show since the first season.
The first report said that Taylor Kinney was leaving the show to deal with a “personal matter.” Because Severide won’t be in the last few episodes of this season, the scripts had to be changed, and it’s not clear when he might come back if he comes back at all.
TVLine said that the recent episode, which aired on March 1 (Wednesday), would be about Severide leaving. It’s not known if Taylor will be in further episodes or not, so it’s possible it may have been his last one before he went on leave.
“Damage Control” is the name of this week’s episode.
