A bride is going crazy on social media for embracing her gray hair on her wedding day.
On July 2nd, a makeup artist from Miami took to TikTok to share a video of her client, Kadeja Jackson Baker, looking absolutely gorgeous while rocking her natural hair color on her special day.
“I loved my bride’s natural gray hair. She’s had it since she was 16,” Codrington wrote in the overlay text as Baker is seen getting makeup applied to her face while she has her gray strands pin-curled up.
Codrington’s video got a lot of attention on the social media platform after it was posted, with 2 million views and over 270,000 likes.
Hundreds of people commented on how beautiful Jackson looked at her wedding and praised her for keeping the natural look.
One user shared: “I had mine since I was 10, I pray it gets like that. she’s so beautiful.”
Another commented: “She is breathtaking!!!”
A third chimed in and said: “I think grey hair looks soooo amazing, like i genuinely can’t wait until my greys starting coming.”

Baker’s makeup artist spoke to Good Morning America about the support she received for her hair on social media.
“I initially didn’t have any expectations when posting the videos other than to share her beauty through my eyes, but witnessing how she embraced and embodied the beauty of her hair was something I felt compelled to share,” Codrington said.
“It was amazing to know that she had options to change her hair color or try something different for that day, but chose to be herself and wear her natural hair color,” she added.
The bride said that she was shocked by the responses to her hair on social media.
“I did not expect for the responses to be as plentiful as I look at myself in the mirror every day and did not think it was that big of a deal that I was embracing my natural hair and look,” she said.
“Being the best version of yourself is the best thing you can offer to the world,” Baker added.
