It’s been six years since the finale of Breaking Bad came out. The fans have been exploring the universe of Breaking Bad through Better Call Saul after that. Not to mention that they have been waiting desperately for a movie based on the show.
But we have some interesting information in store for you. Remember Agent Schrader’s fictional Schraderbrau Beer. Dean Norris is turning it into a reality soon. The official announcement was recently made by Sony Pictures Television.
Walter White (Bryan Cranston) was the main lead of Breaking Bad. He started an illegal drug empire with his partner drug dealer (Jesse Pinkman) to secure the future of his family. He was also battling cancer at that time.
DEA agent Dean Norris, who was also the brother-in-law of Walter White, was after their lives. In the second season, we were introduced to Schraderbrau Beer which was made by Agent Schrader.
The fictional beer will become a reality this year. We couldn’t be more grateful to Sony and Dean Norris for it. They are partnering with Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co to brew the perfect beer.
Dean Norris said that this is not an instant plan. He was thinking about it since a long time and the tenth anniversary of the show last year gave him the required motivation. He had to find the perfect way to do it which took a lot of time. Norris added,
I knew if I put out a beer, it’s gonna get a lot of scrutiny—I don’t want people going, ‘Ah this is crap.’
Future Business Prospects for Schraderbrau Beer
Looking at the huge success of Breaking Bad, the beer will definitely make a profit. Norris is going to put in all the required efforts. It will be out by May this year.
