Mayweather vs Pacquiao is a fight that shook the boxing world when it happened in May 2015. The two haven’t crossed paths since – but rumors of a rematch have been heating up for quite a long time now. It is now expected that the match WILL happen and there is a strong belief among the promoters that the two titans will clash one last time.
However, this is in direct contrast to what both the men have been saying actually. Is it just a red herring from them? Let us take a closer look.
We all think we've got one more boxing match in us, and that, probably, will be the downfall of Floyd Mayweather, George Foreman, Manny Pacquiao. We'll overstay our welcome. (George Foreman)

Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao to get a Green Light?
Mayweather vs Pacquiao II is expected to be every bit as good as the first one – at least when you look from Manny Pacquiao’s point of view. Coming fresh off a win over Keith Thurman, the Pac Man is expected to get the better of The Money this time around! It will be interesting to see how their dynamic would be now that Mayweather hasn’t fought in a while but Manny just defeated Thurman.
The match continues to be in the will-it won’t-it zone, but it is expected that the two will face off in the near future, mostly by 2020.
What’s Next for the Two After This?
Pacquiao vs Thurman II might be the swansong for both men – one last hurrah where they fight to their heart’s content. It will be interesting to see if this is indeed a double-retirement match.
