Big Little Truths about Meryl Streep

I’m so sorry for the bad pun, but it just felt right! Meryl needs no introduction but just in case a little birdie flies here who doesn’t know about her. Meryl is the ‘Black Lady’ bearer and is a goddess at acting. She has been one of the finest actress American culture or even the world could fetch.

Her diverse adaption at accents and versatile performance in films like ‘Sophie’s Choice’ ‘The Deer Hunter’ etc have shown shades of all nine emotions beautifully. Streep has been nominated 21 times for Oscars and has won three among them.

Namely for Kraner Vs Kramer, Sophie’s Choice, The Iron Lady. Yes! I know right, and I don’t even get elected for student body president here and Oscars is a 7 incarnation dream.

Big Little Lies season 2: Meryl Streep’s entry

The Oscar winner would enter the HBO’s cherished drama in its sophomore year with Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. She’d be seen in the character of Mary Louise Wright which is her real name. While you may think that this might be a coincidence it is not!

She is in the light as the grieving mother of an abusive character named Perry. The author of the book and the executive producer, Liane Moriarty kept Meryl in her mind and wanted her to play the character. This why the fictional character, Mary Louise Wright bears the name of her favorite real-life actor Meryl Streep.
