It is why Apple is working on a budget version of AirPods Pro that can solve the stock issues and also cater to the mid-range market. The affordable version of the wireless earbuds called AirPods Pro Lite will enter production this month and will be ready for a Summer 2020 launch. Apple AirPods Pro Lite specs and features details are hardly out but as per the name suggests, it will be a lighter version of the Pro model earbuds. Apple will most likely remove the advanced features and offer simple earbuds for calling purpose. The materials used in AirPods Pro Lite might be of different quality but it won’t be still cheap. There is no way Apple could market AirPods Lite as the next-gen wireless earbuds, it will mainly cater to the mid-range budget markets.
AirPods Pro Lite Summer 2020 Release Date
Apple could start the production for the entry-level variant called AirPods Pro Lite around the end of March or start of April this year. As per the reports, consumers can find AirPods Pro Lite entering the retail markets around Summer 2020.
There are also rumors that Apple has shifted the assembly line factories to Taiwan over the fear of Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in China. AirPods Pro Lite can release around the second half of the year at price ranging from $149 to $199.
