LG’s G8 smartphone, its latest release – is going to come out running the Android 9.0 Pie OS update out of the box. However, older smartphones such as the LG G6 and LG G7, as well as the LG V20, LG V30, V35, V40 as well as certain phones of the Q-series and the K-series are also expected to be updated to Android Pie soon.

Android Pie Update for Essential Phones

Essential Phone users are almost at par with Google Pixel users when it comes to Android 9.0 Pie OS update. The phone got the update on the same day that Google released it. Essential Phone (PH-1) is created by the co-founder of Android Andy Rubin and the users, hence, get the best of the Android experience!
