Allen Robinson is a very interesting player in the NFL and has lots of ups and downs in his career. He had an amazing debut in NFL for the team Jacksonville Jaguars, where he was entitled a Pro Bowl appearance. Robinson played very well in the Jaguars with 80 receptions for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns.
But the year 2016 and 2017 were not kind to him, as he had a dip in performance and an ACL injury. In the last year, Robinson joined the Chicago Bears for a fresh start.
The 25 years old star caught 55 passes for 754 yards and four scores in his season with the Bears. But the numbers are not enough, Allen Robinson needs to improve his game further so that his place in Chicago Bears stays relevant.
Less Injury, More Games
Allen Robinson has constantly suffered from injuries and was not able to play properly during the last few seasons. After his injury in 2017, he was only able to play one contest game and in the last year, he played just 13 games because of his hip injury.
Robinson needs to at least play 16 games in a year to prove his worth as a star-receiver in the Bears team. In order to do so, Allen needs to stay healthy and avoid any major injury.
Allen Robinson Stats: Catches and Reception
Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, Cordarrelle Paterson and Trey Burton are some of the best receivers in the Chicago Bears team. If Allen Robinson wants to stay at the No. 1 position in the team, he needs to catch a minimum of 75 passes in the next NFL season. Robinson did a total of 80 receptions in 2015, so it should not be that difficult for him to repeat the same in the Chicago team.
1000 Yards Record
Allen Robinson has only achieved the 1000-yard mark one time in his whole career of 5 years. Back in the year 2016, he was very close to the target with 73 balls for 883 yards and six scores, but if he was unable to reach 4 digit mark.
If Robinson manages to achieve the 1000-yard record once again, the Chicago Bears can easily become a super bowl contender in the next NFL season. Given his young age, it should be totally possible for Robinson and the Bears won’t even think about trading him after it.
