Avowed: A Glimpse into Obsidian’s Fantasy Realm
“Avowed,” Obsidian’s next fantasy-action RPG, took center stage to begin the event. Gabriel Paramo, the gameplay director, showcased the game’s versatile combat system, allowing players to seamlessly switch between melee, spellcasting, and sharpshooting. The game’s strategic blocking and parrying system were also highlighted.
A side quest in the area called Skatterskarp was featured, emphasizing the game’s voice acting and dialogue systems. The segment ended with the announcement of a Fall 2024 launch window for “Avowed,” with the promise of more updates in the coming months.
Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga – A Journey into the Past
Next up was “Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga,” showcasing a new chapter in Senua’s life, set in 10th-century Iceland. New companions will join Senua, shifting the focus to the people around her, in addition to the voices in her mind.

The Developer Direct concluded with the first gameplay trailer of “Indiana Jones And The Great Circle.” This new adventure will see Indy traveling to iconic locations such as The Vatican and the Pyramids of Egypt.
