Super Showdown was held in the King Abdullah stadium, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 7. WWE was promoting this event as an equal to Wrestlemania, but it was nothing of that sort. Most of the matches were boring and predictable, and the whole event looked like they were pandering to the locals. All of the WWE titles were played except for the women’s championship. In a series of funny videos, the battle for the 24/7 title between R-truth and Jinder Mahal was hilarious and fun to watch. The 24/7 title is one of the most unique belt championships in WWE, where an opponent can be pinned anywhere at any time. Jinder Mahal defeated R-truth to take the title on their way to Saudi Arabia.
R-truth used this opportunity and pinned a sleeping Jinder Mahal on a flying plane. When other wrestlers started chasing R-truth, the fighter escaped into the plane’s bathroom and hid there. After this win, R-truth has become a 5-times champion of the 24/7 title.
John Cena in Fast and Fast Furious 9
John Cena, the famous WWE superstar turned actor has landed another Hollywood role. He was previously seen in the Transformers reboot prequel Bumblebee. As per the latest reports, John Cena has been cast in the upcoming Fast and Furious 9.

It is being speculated that he will replace the character of Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Apparently, Rock has his own movie Hobbs and Shaw of the Fast and Furious universe coming up, so he wants a break. Vin Diesel has previously shared a video where he was seen welcoming John Cena. John Cena is now a confirmed cast member of the upcoming Fast and Furious 9 movie.
