Will Ferrell has recently announced the ongoing work of Wedding Crashers 2. He is quite happy with the sequel as the first Wedding Crashers is one of his favorite films.
Wedding Crashers is a 2005 American romantic comedy film written by Steve Faber and Bob Fisher. Its star cast includes Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, Bradley Cooper, and Jane Seymour.
Ferrell in an interview with E! News says –
“Wedding Crashers 2, yeah. I think we can just say it’s being written.”
“How about if it’s just the lawyers representing everyone in divorce court? Wedding Crashers 2,” he quipped. “And just make it like a legal courtroom drama, not funny at all,”
Alongside his co-star McAdams, he hilariously suggested that the plotline should focus on divorce in the upcoming sequel. She replied loudly to this –
‘Are we all getting divorced?’
Well, keeping everything aside, she told that she would love to reunite with stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn for a sequel-
“I got to work with Owen again on Midnight In Paris, so that was super fun. And I worked with Vince again on True Detective, now I’m just remembering it. But those were very different. So yeah, it’d be nice to go back and have a romp.”
Ferrell and McAdams reunited for their new Netflix movie
Recently Ferrell and McAdams have reunited for their new Netflix comedy Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Director David Dobkin from the Wedding Crashers as well as of the new Netflix movie.
She then added that while she and Ferrell had worked together on Wedding Crashers but certainly not crossed path while filming. He then certainly made an impression. She continued saying –
“Will and I actually never met in that film, because he was doing a cameo… we were like ships passing.
“I was always just so wishing another opportunity would come along, where we’d actually be in the same scene together.
“I think he’s one of the funniest men on the planet, so I’m just a huge fan. And he’s one of the loveliest men as well.”
We hope to get the sequel released soon. Much awaited Wedding Crashers sequel for their fans.
