Marisa Peer was born in Newcastle, U.K. on April 12, 1957. She pursued her studies in London to become a child psychologist and graduated from Melbourn Village College and Cambridge College of Arts and Technology.

Peer relocated to Los Angeles at 25 years old and started working as a personal trainer at Jane Fonda’s fitness facility. While there, she obtained an advanced degree in Hypnotherapy from the Hypnotism Training Institute of Los Angeles.

Additionally, she received instruction in hypnosis from Gil Boyne, a renowned expert in the field, which greatly impacted her professional path.

Furthermore, she pursued further education in hypno-healing, advanced hypnotherapy, medical hypnotherapy, and Gestalt Analysis.

She also attended the Pritikin Longevity Center, established by renowned health advocate Nathan Pritikin, to learn about anti-aging, health, and long-term wellness approaches. Following her time in Los Angeles, Peer relocated back to London in 1986.

Career

After finishing her education, Marisa Peer embarked on her profession as a therapist. Throughout a span of thirty years, she has assisted various individuals such as members of royalty, famous musicians, actors, top athletes, executives, and media figures. Along the way, Peer also authored multiple best-selling self-help books.

After assisting numerous individuals in improving their lives, Peer decided to develop and instruct a course that would train other therapists in her techniques.
