Meet Reese Witherspoon’s Kids
Besides being an actor, author, producer, and entrepreneur, Reese Witherspoon is also a loving mother to three lovely children. Some may even say her kids are spitting images of her. Despite frequently posting pictures of her family’s joy, the star of “The Morning Show” on Apple TV+ is also recognized for her unfiltered parenting style, which we greatly respect.
Ava Phillippe
Ava Elizabeth Philippe is the eldest of Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon’s kids. She was born on September 9, 1999, in Los Angeles. Witherspoon was only 23 years old at the time of Ava’s birth.
Reflecting on her experience on the Friends set in 2000, Witherspoon shared with PEOPLE in April 2024 how she brought her baby Ava along and the reactions of Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox upon discovering her presence.
“Jen was just the sweetest to me. I’d just had a baby, and I remember her and Courteney running to my dressing room going, ‘Can we see the baby?’ ‘You have a baby?’ I was like, ‘I do y’all, I have a baby.’ They were like, ‘Can we hold the baby?’
“I got to put her on the couch in Central Perk, and still have a little picture of her at Central Perk.”
Ava is taking inspiration from her mother in various aspects, but she is also forging her own unique journey. Apart from completing her studies at UC Berkeley, she is actively pursuing a modeling career and has secured partnerships with well-known labels such as Pat McGrath, Beyonce’s Ivy Park, and her mother’s brand, Draper James.
Deacon Phillippe
Deacon Reese Phillippe, who was born on October 23, 2003, in Los Angeles, will be turning 21 years old. He graduated from high school in the spring of 2022 and his parents celebrated by hosting a backyard graduation ceremony.
Deacon is following the path of his parents and embarking on a profession in the world of entertainment. In 2020, he began his journey as a music producer with the successful launch of his popular track “Long Run”.
Reese Witherspoon was filled with immense pride for her son’s achievement, and she shared a delightful video of herself dancing to the song on Instagram.
During an interview with Interview magazine, he revealed his love for producing and mentioned that his father, who is also a musician, played a significant role in his pursuit of it. Additionally, Deacon has ventured into acting and made his first appearance in the third season of the popular teen series Never Have I Ever on Netflix.
Deacon is presently enrolled at New York University. On February 1, 2023, he shared pictures and clips from his time at the university on Instagram. One of the photos featured him sitting in his dorm room with a glowing shattered heart and a red EMBIID 21 basketball jersey displayed in the background.
Tennessee John Toth
On September 27, 2012, in Los Angeles, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth joyfully welcomed their only child, Tennesse Toth. Despite not often exposing him to the public, Witherspoon has on occasion shared glimpses of her youngest on various social media platforms, including multiple birthday posts.
In 2021, the youngest of Reese Witherspoon’s kids, was present with the rest of the family to attend the debut of Witherspoon’s animated film Sing 2. The mother of three shared a video on Instagram from that evening, along with a photo from their attendance at the first movie’s premiere five years ago.
After the announcement of Witherspoon and Toth’s divorce in March 2023, the couple is now prioritizing the well-being of their children.
