Dark is a supernatural thriller based in Germany and Dark Season 2 is very much awaited. This Netflix original has continued to rise in popularity since the first season was released.
Dark follows the lives of four families in a fictional town in Germany named Windon. These families investigate the disappearance of several children in a mystery which dates back all the way to 1986.

When is the Dark Season 2 Coming?
Netflix confirmed Dark Season 2 back in December. The production for the second season is already underway and the fans cannot wait for an official release date.
Netflix has hinted that Dark Season 2 is going to air in the latter stages of 2019. Fans can expect eight episodes in the second season, which is less than the first, but it is something.

We see Jonas wake up, only to find himself in the post-apocalyptic version of Windon. After he wakes up, he is greeted by a girl, who says, “welcome to the future”. Many fans have speculated that the year is 2052.
However, the writer of the show, Jantje Friese has teased the fans that Dark Season 2 is going to have more than just the older version of all the characters.
Fans can expect Jonas, Helge, Claudia, Ulrich, Bartosz, Father Noah, Martha all make it to the Dark Season 2. There will be more actors playing these characters in different timelines
