The second part was announced back in June 2014. However, the restructuring of DreamWorks happened, and Puss in Boots 2: Nine Lives & 40 Thieves was canceled. The movie is now renamed Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The movie released in 2022.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was supposed to release in 2018. And here we are almost half a decade later, and the movie was finally released on December 21, 2022. The fans were delighted as they could watch the movie on Christmas. Currently, the movie is only available in theatres.

You can watch the movie on Peacock 45 days after its release date. The film will not release on HBO Max as it is not a Warner Bros. movie. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish will neither be available on Netflix nor Hulu. You can’t watch the movie on these two OTT platforms despite viewers’ wishes.
