Dwight Howard is once again under media scrutiny after an old video resurfaced online. The video shows Howard assaulting a teammate as he comes and sits down next to him during a live game. The incident was caught on camera and is doing the rounds on the internet.
Dwight Howard Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Dwight Howard is already caught up in a sexual scandal and it seems like he can’t catch a break. The 37-year-old T1 league player has been accused of sleeping with transgender males and other men by his alleged ex-girlfriend, Masin Elije. In 2018, Elije alleged that she was seeing Howard and broke up when she learnt about his sexual endeavours with trans men. She further claimed to have been threatened by Howard and his pastor to keep their relationship private and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
However, in an interview with Kristy Leahy, Dwight Howard addressed the allegations. Howard denied ever having met Elije and also stated that he wasn’t gay.
“Why would somebody, who I never met, never had any contact with, make up a whole story about me? I saw all the hate, the pure hate, from people that I’ve never met before, just pile up everywhere I went.”
“I’m not gay. It’s a lot of people who are and they have to hide, and there’s people who have mental issues and they have to hide. There’s people who have different problems in life and they have to hide.”
“They have to put on the mask every day, and it’s like, I don’t wanna wear no mask, I just wanna be.”
Later in 2021, a man named Stephen Harper had also come out and spoken about his awful experience with the ex-NBA star. Harper claimed that Dwight Howard had invited him over to his place and proposed a threesome with a transwoman named Kitty. The lawsuit also exposes Howard’s private chats with Harper. The victim also recalled Dwight Howard having non-consensual sexual activities with him despite his disapproval.
Latest Video Shows Dwight Howard Assaulting Teammate
Amid all the lawsuit drama, a video showing Howard assaulting a teammate has gone viral. It is an old video from when Dwight Howard was associated with the Houston Rockets. He can be seen walking up to the said teammate and touching him inappropriately as he settles down next to him.
It not only sheds more light on all the allegations that Howard has been accused of but also weakens his defence. Twitterati is certainly not happy with Howard’s behaviour.
