Tom Holland, the Spider-Man star, is set to play the charismatic thief and explorer Nathan Drake. Dan Trachtenberg is at the helm as a director for this movie; he has directed flicks like 10 Cloverfield Lane. Jonathan Rosenberg and Mark Walker write the script of the film.

These escalations hint that Sony is serious about film development. It is quite a strong signal that Uncharted will get a release.
