Everything goes back to 2014 when Avid hikers Cynthia Bennett and her boyfriend decided that they want to adopt a dog. Initially, they thought of getting a golden retriever mix. But then everything changed when they saw the good boi, Henry. What actually happened that Bennett went to a dog adoption event and there she met Henry who was just 14 weeks old. And she decided to adopt Henry when he just curled up into her lap & flipped his head over her arm.
She told us “I think we only had him for three days when we took him on our first hike.” “He found the steepest, tallest rock around, and he ran up to the top of it to look over the edge.”
After getting Henry, the couple decided to adopt another pet. And that’s when they got a Siamese kitten mix named Baloo. Surprisingly, Baloo and Henry get along very well and become an inseparable pair! Bennett further added “I get a lot of questions about how we got him used to it and how it is to travel with both a cat and a dog. But he really loves it. He really wants to go outside,” Bennett said. “If I touch Henry’s leash, [Baloo] will start screaming at the door.”
