Who is Maddie Brown?
Madison Rose Brush, also known as Maddie Brown, was born on November 3, 1995, to parents Kody and Janelle Brown. She is the fourth child of Kody and the second child of Janelle.
Her siblings include Logan Brown, Aspyn Thompson, Leon Brown, Mykelti Padron, Hunter Brown, Paedon Brown, Garrison Brown, Gabriel Brown, Gwendolyn Queiroz, Ysabel Brown, Savanah Brown, Truly Brown, Solomon Brown, and Ariella Brown.
Maddie Brown spent her childhood in Lehi, Utah before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of seventeen. She then enrolled in Centennial High School.
In 2015/2016, Madison completed one year of studies at Utah State University before leaving due to her engagement. During her time there, she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority.
TV Career
Madison’s family was the focus of a TLC reality show called Sister Wives, which was announced in August 2010. The series followed their forbidden polygamist lifestyle in Utah, where it was considered illegal.
The first episode of Sister Wives aired on September 26, 2010, and as of August 25, 2017, eleven seasons have been released. Season twelve does not have a confirmed premiere date yet. Madison is a regular cast member on the show.
Personal Life
Maddie Brown announced on September 13, 2015, that she and Caleb Brush were engaged. The proposal involved a trip to a beautiful viewpoint on his ATV.
“It was cold and we were huddled in jackets and I thought he was crazy to stop. He said to come look over here. So I walked with him to the edge. He told me he could never express how much he loved me, but he wanted to spend his life trying, and went down on one knee and pulled out a box. I started kissing him and saying, ‘Yes, yes!'”
Maddie Brown and Caleb Brush tied the knot on June 4, 2016. Viewers of Sister Wives got an inside look at their wedding preparations and ceremony on the episode “Maddie Gets Married” of Sister Wives.
Despite being raised by polygamous parents, Maddie and her husband have no intention of adopting this lifestyle. Maddie had a total of five bridesmaids, among them were her sisters Mariah, Aspyn, and Mykelti. Her younger sister Truely served as her flower girl.
On May 20, 2017, the couple celebrated the arrival of their first child, a son named Axel James Brush. The show’s Season 12, Episode 9 showcased Maddie’s labor and home birth.
Maddie announced on Instagram on Feb. 12 that she and Caleb Brush had welcomed their third child, a baby girl, two days earlier. She captioned the photo:
“Welcome to the world Josephine Lee Brush! Little Miss Joey was born 2/10 at 8lbs 9oz.”
Janelle also made an Instagram post to share the news of her granddaughter’s arrival.
“Meeting Joey (Josephine). I love the grandma life! Saw the baby and then headed back home to hang out with Axel and Evie. Life is good.”
Despite having successfully raised her three children with her husband, Caleb Brush, for several years, Maddie continues to share new insights she has learned on her Instagram for her followers and viewers of Sister Wives. In a recent Instagram post, Maddie opened up about her youngest daughter, Josephine.
Maddie Brown posted a video online where she appeared exhausted while holding her alert baby, Josephine. She also revealed that out of all her children, her youngest is the worst at sleeping. Despite having a large support system from her extended family on Sister Wives, Maddie seems to have mastered her approach to parenting.
