"Shooting Stars on Demand" : Artificial Meteor Shower in Japan

The people of Japan can soon avail to a very unique and surreal service of artificial meteor shower service called “Shooting Stars on Demand.”

Outline
  • Service of “Shooting Stars on Demand”
  • Company providing “Shooting Stars on Demand”
  • What will give the effect of shooting stars in the event of “Shooting Stars on Demand”
  • When will the other parts of the world get to avail “Shooting Stars on Demand”

The scientists of Japan have said that they have launched a satellite on Friday. This satellite is on the mission of delivering the first artificial meteor shower that will cause “Shooting Stars on Demand” which will be blasted into the space.

Service of “Shooting Stars on Demand”

A micro satellite has been developed by a startup that is based in Tokyo. This satellite will be doing the celestial showers over Hiroshima.

The service will begin as early as by the beginning of 2020. It is an initial experiment by the start-up which the company has named as “Shooting Stars on Demand”.

The satellite will be releasing tiny balls which will glow when released as they hurtle through the atmosphere. This will then stimulate a meteor shower and will be on demand thus giving the name “Shooting Stars on Demand”.

The satellite that will be releasing the “Shooting Stars on Demand” has started its ride on a small Epsilon-4 rocket. This rocket has been launched on the morning of Friday. It has been launched by JAXA(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) from the Uchinoura space centre.

The rocket that has been launched carries in total seven ultra small satellites. The spokesperson of JAXA, Nobuyoshi Fujimoto had stated AFP that these satellites will be demonstrating various innovative technologies.

JAXA even confirmed the launching of all the seven satellites into the orbit by the early afternoon.

Company providing “Shooting Stars on Demand”

The president of the company providing the services of “Shooting Stars on Demand” stated that he was too moved for words. He further added that he feels that the hard work is now ahead.

“Shooting Stars on Demand” is the service which will be provided by ALE Co. Ltd. It plans to deliver the first show of “Shooting Stars on Demand” in the spring of 2020 over Hiroshima.

What will give the effect of shooting stars in the event of “Shooting Stars on Demand”

The satellite that has been launched carries 400 tiny balls which will be used for the event of “Shooting Stars on Demand”.

These tiny balls have been created by a special chemical formula by the company specifically to give the effect of “Shooting Stars” for the show, “Shooting Stars on Demand”.

According to the company, so many tiny balls will be enough to conduct 20-30 shows as one event of “Shooting Stars on Demand” requires only 20 stars.

When will the other parts of the world get to avail “Shooting Stars on Demand”

ALE is planning to expand its services of “Shooting Stars on Demand” to the entire world by building a stockpile of shooting stars in space which can be delivered to the entire world on demand.

With the tinkering with the ingredients in the balls, it will be possible to change the colors of the balls in which they glow in the event of “Shooting Stars on Demand”.

By doing so, it will be possible to create a multi-color flotilla of shooting stars in the event of “Shooting Stars on Demand”.

Each star of the “Shooting Star on Demand” is expected to shine for several seconds before these burn up. After burning up, these stars are expected to fall low. But that will not be enough that it poses any danger to anything on Earth.
