The future of the show is confirmed after the renewal news of Shameless Season 10 by the show’s owner. Shameless has made it to the longest running series of the channel, after it was renewed by Showtime. Gary Levine, the executive of the show, also mentioned the news about the renewal of the show during the Television Critics Association press tour.
He also said that they would be back for another season. Currently, several members of the show’s cast are also confirmed will return in the next season. There is no official date for the release of the show yet. According to sources, it is confirmed that the show will come back for Shameless Season 10, but no certain date has been fixed yet. At the moment, Showtime has released Season 9’s Episode 11 titled “The Hobo Games”. The episode came out on 17 February 2019. The next episode of the current season will be aired on 24 February 2019. The last episode titled “Lost” will release on 3 March 2019.
It seems that the show runners are currently busy with Season 9. So it is hard to predict when will we get to see Shameless Season 10. Also, there is no set pattern that is being followed by the show.
