US President Donald Trump’s lawyers asked the court on Monday for nearly 800,000 US dollars as lawyer fees and as a penalty for the false defamation lawsuit against Trump, by adult-film actress Stormy Daniel on Free-speech ground.
Judge S. James Otero noted that the fee by the harder’s firm-is as huge as 840 US dollars an hour was fair but the hours spent on this case to be more which is 580 and may be shortened. He didn’t show how he was feeling about the penalties he requested, instead he questioned about attorney’s fee whether the fee would serve as a disincentive.
In the year 2006 Stephanie Clifford whose name changed later as Daniels alleges that she had a night affair with the trump. Later, this year she sued him seeking to break a non-disclosure agreement which was signed the days before 2016 election about the rendezvous as a part of $130,000, stillness money settlement. Though Trump denied the affair but essentially accepted the payment to Daniels.
