What to Expect in ‘Quick Play: Hacked – Quicker Play’

The ‘Quicker Play’ version of Overwatch 2’s Quick Play will introduce several accelerated gameplay elements. Here are the key changes players can expect:

  • Reduced Respawn Times: Respawn times will be cut to 75% of their usual duration.
  • Faster Payloads: In Escort and Hybrid maps, payloads will move 60% faster.
  • Swift Objective Control: Gaining control of objectives in Hybrid and Control will be 40% faster, with scoring progress increased by 80%.
  • Flashpoint Objectives: Capturing objectives in Flashpoint will be 20% faster, and scoring will be 40% faster.
  • Shortened Match Times: For Escort, Hybrid, and Push maps, the initial match time is reduced to 70%, including time extensions.

These changes will be in effect for all players in Role Queue and Open Queue Quick Play modes during the event and will revert to normal post-January 14.
