The One Piece Anime has finally caught up with the manga series now that it has bid farewell to the Wano Arc. The One Piece Anime is set to enter the Egghead Island Arc, and a new teaser was released for the Final Saga. However, the anime series will go on a temporary hiatus. One Piece Anime To Go On a Temporary Hiatus
As the Final Saga of One Piece has approached, the teaser released for the Egghead Island Arc revealed the release date to be January 7, 2024. The Egghead Island Arc, or the Future Island Arc began on September 26, 2022, and has covered almost 38 chapters to date.
In between this, the One Piece Anime series will go on a Christmas and New Year Break. A new episode will air on December 4, 2023, titled “New Emperor! Buggy the Star Clown!” and will likely focus on Buggy, Mihawk, and Crocodile, adapting chapter 1058. The Egghead arc starts from chapter 1061, so, One Piece fans can expect two more episodes before the series goes on a temporary hiatus.
One Piece Anime series may also continue with their regular filler episodes to cover the holiday break, as no information on the temporary break has been confirmed by TOEI animation studio. TOEI already has a schedule for its annual break, so it is less likely that fans will get any new installments for further episodes.

The Egghead Island Arc: What To Expect?
Along with the Strawhat crew, fans can expect new characters to be introduced in the Final Saga. Dr. Vegapunk and his six satellites, Shaka, Lilith, Edison, Pythagoras, Atlas, and York, will be featured in this Saga. Along with them, fans may anticipate the return of Sabo, Monkey D. Garp, Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid, Red Haired Pirates, and Blackbeard Pirates.
The official synopsis for the Egghead Island Arc is as follows:
“After the successful Raid on Onigashima and releasing the Wano Country from its shackles, it’s time for the Straw Hats [to embark on] yet another magnificent adventure. This time the crew’s log pose takes them to a futuristic island called Egghead Island where things are unlike we have ever seen before. Upon reaching the new island, the Straw Hats learn this is where Dr. Vegapunk lives. And they get caught up in chaos again that could shake the world and lead to a global war”
