The reaction was one of surprise and curiosity: “We’re like, ‘Hold up, hold up. Justin Fields is about to be back there?’ I don’t know. I think it’s cool.”
The New Kickoff Rules and Justin Fields’ Fit
This unexpected consideration for Fields stems partly from recent changes to NFL kickoff rules, which restrict players from moving until the ball is touched by the returner. Warren commented on the new setup, “As soon as you touch the ball, that’s when everything starts to happen.
