In the first-ever game as a Clipper, James Harden scored 17 points but could not help his team to win, as the Knicks won it by 111-97. Harden joined the Clippers just a week before the game, and the lack of coordination was quite evident on the court. Harden also had to face the crowd booing him. A lot of people were curious to see him play for the Lakers for the first time.

James had a very bad debut game, plus they failed to perform as a team. James just joined the Clippers, and his discomfort is quite understandable. Without having participated in training camps and pre-season, it does get tough. The Clippers need to figure out a lot of things. They have 4 All-Stars still there is a lack of good game display from their side.

Widely known for being a LeBron James hater, commentator Skip Bayless was also one of them who was eager to watch James Harden play as Clippers. In a conversation, Skip Bayless said that he was more concentrated on James Harden’s debut game as Clippers despite LeBron playing different games at the same time. Skip Bayless follows all LeBron games closely, but this was the first time he was distracted.

He appreciated James Harden’s talent and, at the same time, gave reason for him (Harden) failing in the debut Clipper match. Skip believed that the lack of being in the training camp was one of the major reasons for the defeat. Interestingly, after a few days, Skip bashed James Harden for sitting on the bench in street clothes. It is quite hard to understand Skip’s take on something.

Currently, the Los Angeles Clippers is in a very problematic stage, and they need to figure it out among them. There were a lot of expectations from them since they have a star-studded team along with 4 All-Stars. The one possible reason behind their failure can be the lack of young talents.
