The former fixer of the President got three years imprisonment in the New York who was sentenced for many crimes that he committed.
Michael Cohen said that he had to protect his boss from all the crimes. He was made appear before the District Judge of U.S. to get sentenced for the crimes like violations in finance, tax evasion as well as he lied to the Congress about the paste dealings of Trump with Russia. He need to come to prison till 6th March and he has to pay restitution of $1.4 million, fine of $50,000 and forfeit of $500,000.
Before he was sentenced he said that he blindly believed Trump which had taken him to the darkness path.
Trump’s attorney Rudy Giulani argued in Fox News phone interview that Michael Cohen’s loyalty was not true and he had recorded many conversations with Trump.
In the Court Cohen made a statement that he will be responsible for every act and he would be returning to the family as soon as he got sentenced. He extended his apologies to the United States people and said that they actually should know what the truth is. There were two individual investigations handled by the New York Prosecutors and Robert Mueller.
The two cases have strong impact for Trump. Michael Cohen has told that he was working according to the Trump’s direction. The prosecutors of Federal strongly suggested imprisonment for Michael Cohen and all the statements against Muller are over said. Michael Cohen was accused for misleading the Congress by saying the skyscraper building details of Trump in Moscow. He was also imprisoned for the violating the law of finance with regard to the payment process with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.
Trump has denied this payment details and the mistakes lie with Cohen.
