McDonald’s is giving away free fries to customers every Friday, as part of a special promotion. The fast food chain introduced “Free Fries Friday,” offering a free order of medium fries every Friday, at least for the remainder of the year. All About McDonald’s Free Fries Friday
Starting on October 27, Free Fries Friday will run every Friday till December 29. This will give you ten chances to take advantage of the offer before it expires. However, since the McDonald’s app is the only place where the offer is available, you must use it to claim your free fries. It is not accessible by simply entering a restaurant or using a third-party app like JustEat or UberEats.
You should also keep in mind that the free fries promotion is only valid once per day, so don’t go ordering a tonne of fries. Additionally, if you take advantage of this offer on any given Friday, it will be the only one you can take advantage of that day and cannot be combined with any other offers. On Fridays when the promotion is active, you will be asked if you would like free fries when you open the app. You can also find it by clicking the deals tab. Additionally, customers must have contactless payment enabled on any major credit card added to their account.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the offer cannot be used unless you make a $1 minimum purchase. According to the company’s website, the Big mac headquarters said this reward is “valid 1x each Friday thru 12/31/23,” giving customers more than two months to take advantage of the offer. To take part in the promotion, customers must set up an account on the McDonald’s app. Like other deals, applying for the promotion will likely require showing a clerk a QR code.
The McDonald’s chain of restaurants has offered free fries in its restaurants before. They previously advertised a promotion for free fries in July in honour of National French Fry Day.
Before that, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the well-known menu item, they ran a promotion on chicken nuggets in January. In honour of National Cheeseburger Day, which is also a thing, the chain also offered its famous cheeseburger for just 50 cents each last month.

However, as 2023 draws to a close, there are other fast food restaurants making offers. Up until December 31, Burger King is giving its Royal customers free fries with every order. Up until October 31 only Taco Bell rewards members can take advantage of Taco Bell‘s free Toasted Breakfast Tacos offer via its mobile app. The good news is that it is accessible without cost.
Up until October 30, Dunkin’ reward members can get one free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase. Similar to McDonald’s, in order to take advantage of this promotion, one must be a member of the chain’s rewards programme. However, no additional purchase is necessary. For the remainder of October, those who have the Taco Bell taco lover’s pass, which ensures a daily free taco, can use it to get a free breakfast taco every day.
