Maxwell Friedman is an American actor and professional wrestler. He’s won the AEW World Championship once, holding the record for the longest reign in that title’s history, and he’s also a one-time AEW International Champion.
Early Life & Education
Maxwell Tyler Friedman was born on March 15, 1996, in Plainview, New York, to an Ashkenazi Jewish family. When he was just five years old, he appeared on The Rosie O’Donnell Show in 2001, where he sang “You Are My Sunshine” after his parents sent in a video of him performing it in an operatic manner while munching on a pear.
During his interview with Rosie O’Donnell, Friedman revealed that he wanted to be an opera singer and a pro wrestler, noting that his favorite wrestlers are Goldberg and The Rock.
In 2014, Friedman graduated from Plainview–Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, where he was part of the football team. He then went on to attend Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, for a little while.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman, better known as MJF, is a professional wrestler hailing from the U.S. At the moment, he’s competing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
MJF holds the AEW Championship title. Additionally, he has won the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring on several occasions (2019-2022) during his time with the promotion.
He won the Casino Ladder Match in 2022, and the following year, he also took the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Contest. Additionally, MJF earned the Dynamite Award while he was active in AEW. He was involved with Major League Wrestling for several years, from 2017 to 2020.
He was the first to win the MLW World Middleweight Title and the MLW World Tag Team Title while wrestling at Major League Wrestling (MLW) in 2020. Before making his appearance in AEW, Maxwell Friedman had a long run with Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) from 2015 to 2018.

In 2020, Maxwell Friedman began a relationship with artist Naomi Rosenblum, and they got engaged in September 2022. However, they broke up by February 2023. Shortly after, he started dating Alicia Atout, a Canadian media personality of Palestinian descent, in February 2023.
