One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, is about a young kid, Monkey D. Luffy, and his pirate crew named “Straw Hat Pirates, fighting their way through the Grand Line to achieve their treasure in Laugh Tale.

However, did you ever wonder, what if the Straw Hat crew never became pirates? What would have been their jobs? All these questions were asked to author Eiichiro Oda by a 9-year-old One Piece fan, H. Momo.

Eiichiro Oda described what the One Piece characters would be up to if they weren’t Straw Hat Pirates.

Eiichiro Oda revealed what the One Piece Pirates would be doing in the world of non-Pirates in one of the SBS interviews.

While Roronoa Zoro would be a Policeman, and Monkey D. Luffy, a Firefighter, fans are not finding Franky and Nico Robin’s jobs suitable. It’s difficult for them to envisage Franky as a pilot and Robin as a flight attendant, and Reddit One Piece fans have some hilarious reactions to this.

“Robin and franky as a pilot and flight attendant would be my worse nightmare. Imagine frankly announcing he’s going to push the plane to its limits or something, and then Robin says I hope we don’t die in a fiery crash.”

Robin (to a passenger): Franky-San seems really pumped up today. He gets to fly his favorite plane after we land, so he’ll probably go a little faster and take a shortcut. Last time this happened I thought I’d die a fiery death (kind smile)”

While most fans feel that Nami should be a daycare teacher because she is a kind character who enjoys taking care of children, or a banker, there is another possibility for Nami’s employment if she hadn’t been a pirate.

“Ill be honest, i’ll be the guy but Nami would so totally be an egirl streamer. Has the charm and charisma, and is essentially gorgeous af. She loves money and to be pampered, and her reactions- internet guys would worship her (hell we already do and she’s a cartoon).”

While Sanji may be a chef in today’s world, Oda believes he could also be a beautician, and fans have some amusing responses to that as well.
