When it was announced that Will Smith would be reprising the iconic role of Robin Williams as Genie in a live action Aladdin movie, everyone was desperate for the new look. And when it was released this Wednesday, it was disappointing.

When asked about this new look of Genie, Director Guy Ritchie said that no one can ever come close to the magic which late Robin Williams created. So they decided to go on a different path. He said that the role of Genie is open to experiments and its entirely up to the actor to make up the character.
However, just a couple of hours later, Will Smith tweeted that his character will be CGI for most of the parts. This is just the look of Genie in human form. Well, is it so? We have to wait and watch when the first trailer arrives.
