Legendary Chelsea and England Captain retires from Football

After spending two decades in the London club and winning 78 England caps he had taken this decision.

Most interestingly he made his announcement for his retirement in the Instagram account. Stating that after spending incredible 23 years of his career in Football he has decided that it is the right moment for him to say goodbye to soccer.

Terry turned 37 and was without a club since leaving the championship side of Aston Villa.

This brilliant center back has also won five league cups and a Europa League during his 700 appearances in Chelsea.

At his time while playing for Stanford Bridge he has won 5 Premier League titles 5 FA cups and the champions league titles which had made him the most decorated player in the football arena.

Terry stayed 2017-18 season at the Aston Villa and the last game as the professional happened to be in the Aston Villa. It was ended in 1-0 playoff in final championships which had ended to defeat for Fulham in the month of May.

After that, as per the latest report he had left for Villa Park in Moscow when the1 year contract of his got expired and he has also turned down the move to the Spartak Moscow at last month. Despite having the medical saying, it wasn’t so right to take for the family he had.

He happened to be integral for the Blues who claimed both FA cup titles in 2009-2010 and Premier League title. He has made 50 appearances for Chelsea and Chelsea became the 7th club to do that in this premier league.

In the golden career path, Terry has scored 35 goals in the league games and claimed for the premier league for 2014-15. He had joined the premier league with a 1-year deal and had played thirty-six times scoring only once in the final season to Birmingham club.
