The 2019 Met Gala just got over and people are not over the incredible looks of the celebrities. The event themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion” saw some stunning looking celebrity walk the red carpet. Kim Kardashian wore a Thierry Mugler custom gown. It was his first design in almost twenty years for the eponymous fashion house. The Vogue video features the last fitting of Kardashian’s costume for the met gala. It included a corset from the most famous corset maker of the world. The star was unable to it wearing that costume.
She said,
Anna, if I’m mingling all night and not sitting down – you know why.
Kardashian’s costume was inspired by a wet T-shirt look from an old photograph. Her husband Kanye West was spotted in a low-key look and many could not figure out the reason behind it. But it was revealed by Kim that Kanye was there to support her. She explained how Kanye has said,
You’re the cover girl and I’m your plus one. I’ll just try to fade out in the background and just be your date and let you shine.
