Kevin Hart, the comedian who is 39 years old, posted a photo on Instagram holding the golden statue with a message that he is going to host the Academy awards in February, 2019.
Hart wrote that for years he has been asked if he was going to host the show and his answer remained the same always. He also added that it was a lifetime opportunity for him and it would happen at the time it is supposed to be done.
He continued that he was so happy for saying that the right day has finally came for hosting the Oscars by him and that he is simply blown away as that has been a target on his list for a very long time. He felt that joining the legendary list of hosting who have graced that stage is unbelievable which made his mom to smile delightfully.
Combining with 4 other black men, the 5th black man to host the show is Hart.
