How Joseph Allen won the Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent
A recent episode of America’s Got Talent saw one of the competitors rise to the top with the golden buzzer. It is none other than the twenty-one-year-old singer and songwriter Joseph Allen. He impressed the judges by performing his original song. Judge Howie Mandel stood on the table and stomped the golden buzzer. Allen will now be seen in the live shows directly.
Simon Cowell said that Allen received a standing ovation from the audience for nothing as soon as he walked on the stage. The audience was thrilled to see him. Allen was totally shocked by the reaction of the audience, and he couldn’t stop talking about his performance that won him the golden buzzer.
Allen said that he used to perform at his college often and was accustomed to all the support he got. He added,
So to walk out on that stage and then randomly see all of those students… It was definitely something that made me feel comfortable because it made me feel at home.
Many students from his school in Arizona came to watch his performance. The wild reaction from them also hyped the judges. The overwhelming support made Joseph Allen feel at home, and this definitely reflected in his performance. He looked at ease while being nervous and excited at the same time.
