Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are officially divorced. The private judge hired by the couple made the final corrections and the documents were then submitted to the L.A. County Superior Court judge in the previous week.
As was reported earlier, the couple did not hire a lawyer for their divorce. Laura Wasser, a lawyer, helped the couple, but she did not operate in that capacity. She just mediated their divorce. The couple will share the custody of their kids. They have also agreed to meet a co-parenting therapist for six months on a monthly basis.
The two have agreed for the split of their property and did not have a prenup. It seems that the couple got the divorce quite easily due to their mutual agreement. Things didn’t turn into a bad state for them. We hope that they find peace now.
