Jason Kelce Opens Up on Brother’s Dating Rumors
The Philadelphia Eagles had a victorious evening with their 34-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings, but the post-match conversation took a turn from touchdowns to tittle-tattle. The focus was on Jason Kelce, and not for the reasons you might think. It was the swirling rumors of his brother, Travis Kelce, possibly dating the music sensation, Taylor Swift.
Playing It Coy
Tony Gonzalez, the retired NFL star and now a panelist on Prime’s Thursday Night Football, threw Jason a curveball, posing the question on behalf of his 15-year-old daughter. The elder Kelce, 35, maintained a diplomatic stand: “I’ve seen these rumors. I cannot comment.”
But as the conversation evolved, Jason did shed a tad more light, hinting at the media’s longstanding interest in Travis’ romantic endeavors. “Ever since Catching Kelce everybody’s been infatuated with Travis’ love life,” he mentioned. Reminding everyone about the reality dating show that Travis was once part of, Jason added, “I don’t really know what’s going on there, but I know Travis is having fun and we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”
Linking Travis and Taylor
Tuesday’s report linking Travis, 33, to Swift, also 33, wasn’t the first time their names appeared together. Travis had earlier teased about an incident on the “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast. It seems the NFL star tried to pass on his phone number to Swift using a quirky method: a friendship bracelet. The intent was to meet her during a stop on her Eras Tour concert. But the plan hit a snag.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis explained. He further added, with a touch of humor, “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
Past Relationships and Future Ventures
Travis has been in the limelight not just for his football prowess but also for his dating history. He was previously linked with sports journalist Kayla Nicole. Their relationship, which spanned several years, ended in 2020 amongst speculations of infidelity. Addressing these, Travis did deny the allegations in a tweet, which has since been deleted.
In a light-hearted note to wrap up the rumors, Travis, on another occasion on the podcast, expressed a playful intent to return to the dating app Tinder. He joked about using a sideline photo of himself and even sought advice from Jason and his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, who found love on the same platform.
Whether there’s truth to the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating rumors or not, one thing is clear – the footballer’s love life never ceases to pique public interest. And as Jason aptly put it, Travis is simply “having fun.” Only time will tell where his heart truly lies.
