Jack Alcott is an actor from the United States. He is recognized for his performances in the Showtime miniseries The Good Lord Bird (2020) and for portraying Harrison Morgan in Dexter: New Blood (2021–22) as well as in Resurrection (2025).
Early Life & Education
Jack Alcott was born on October 24, 1996, in Franklin, Tennessee, and later moved to New York City to pursue acting before the pandemic prompted his return home.
He studied at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, earning a degree that laid the groundwork for his screen and stage career.
Jack Alcott’s Career
Jack Alcott began his on-camera work with short films such as Flubbery Red (2014), Wingman Walrus (2014), and several others in 2017, Dexter.
His first TV role came as Young Zach Chevalier in the 2018 episode of Champaign ILL, followed by a brief appearance as Young Ressler in The Blacklist (2020). That same year, he secured a regular role as Jason Brown in the Showtime miniseries The Good Lord Bird.
In 2021, Alcott landed the breakout part of Dexter’s teenage son, Harrison Morgan, in Dexter: New Blood (2021–22), earning wide recognition for his emotionally nuanced portrayal.
His role continued in 2025’s Dexter: Resurrection, where he remained a central figure in the evolving narrative. Beyond the Dexter universe, Jake Alcott guest-starred in Poker Face (2023), appearing in the “The Future of the Sport” episode as Randy.
