Shawn Peter Raul Mendes does a bit of songwriting and modeling to besides singing. Halsey confessed her love for the singer by tweeting; I love Shawn Mendes on June 3 at 3:15 a.m. Shawn responded 45 minutes later by saying I love you back.

Within a short period, the tweets were making rounds all over the internet and had gone viral.
Halsey’s relationship history
Previously, Halsey dated Matty Healy, who was also her first boyfriend. After that, she was with the Norwegian producer Lido. The relationship between the two only lasted for one year.
Although she was in a relationship with Jared Leto, there is not much known about their relationship because the duo kept it extremely private. Halsey also dated Machine Gun Kelly after they met on the set of Roadies. She had quite a laid back relationship with him, reports suggest.
In 2018, she dated G Eazy and Youngblud. While it may look like the tweets between her and Mendes point to a secret relationship or a budding romance, the much more plausible explanation is that this exchange is a hint towards their upcoming collaboration.
Not much is known about this, but the rumors have suggested that the duo will be soon creating music together. We will have to wait and see if this is the beginning of a love story or a music album.
