Early Life
Gregory Phillip Grunberg was born on July 11, 1966, in Los Angeles, California. He is the offspring of Sandy (née Klein) and Gerry Grunberg, and he was raised in a Jewish household. He graduated from University High School in West Los Angeles in 1984.
Greg Grunberg’s Career
Greg Grunberg’s first credited role was in the 1998 film BASEketball, directed by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. He played Sean Blumberg on Felicity from 1998 until 2002.
Subsequently, he portrayed Eric Weiss on Alias from 2001 to 2006. He left that series to lead the NBC sitcom Grand Union.
In 2003, Abrams created a series called The Catch, which was to star Grunberg as a bounty hunter. The series was suggested for the 2004–05 and 2005–06 seasons but was ultimately not produced, although a pilot was created.
