Last episode, Game of Thrones episode got the fans on the edge of their seats as deaths were uncertain in the Battle of Winterfell. Samwell Tarly was the most scared of them all, not to mention that he felt as he was doomed.

The GOT fans have witnessed several of their favourite characters die in front of their eyes. Since the episode involved the Battle of Winterfell, it is only natural that some of them would lose their life.

Though Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow were almost guaranteed to make it through, it wasn’t a sure shot thing. Fortunately, it wasn’t Samwell Tarly’s day to die in Game of Thrones season 8. But is he safe now?
Well, it wasn’t just Sam who was scared. Even Jon mentioned on the Ellen Degeneres show that he wasn’t sure of his survival as well. Jon said,
Because you’re always kind of looking at the scripts for the new episode with one eye open. You’re so nervous.
Game of Thrones fans were happy to see him make it through. But they were also concerned about Sam as he is too important and beloved to die. But it’s Game of Thrones and this doesn’t matter. Everybody is in danger on this show. Even though Sam made it through the big battle, he may not be safe forever.
Kit added that his favourite episode is the Game of Thrones season 8 episode 4 as the characters got what they really wanted. Twenty main characters are left now and everyone is bidding farewell to the ones who lost their lives in the Winterfell battle. But it’s not the end yet, so what will happen next in Game of Thrones?
