Early Life & Education
Eiza González was born on January 30, 1990, in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the only child of Glenda Reyna, a former model, and Carlos González, and she has an older sibling.
When she was just 12 years old, her father died in a motorcycle accident, and Eiza has indicated that this event has had a significant effect on her career.
She was a student at Edron Academy and the American School Foundation, both of which are bilingual institutions located in Mexico City.
Additionally, she finished two years of a three-year program at Televisa’s acting school, Centro de Educación Artística. However, she did not finish the course, as she was selected for a teen-focused telenovela when she was 16 years old.

In 2006, Eiza González secured the lead female role in “Lola, érase una vez.” Filming for the show commenced in late 2006, and it premiered in Mexico in February 2007. Subsequently, it was broadcast in various Latin American nations and the United States.
Following the completion of filming, she dedicated three months to acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City before making her way back to Mexico City. In April 2009, she was selected for a role in an episode of the acclaimed crime drama series “Mujeres Asesinas.”
