Dumbo, a live action movie is currently in the making by Disney and Tim Burton. It is going to be an animation/live action hybrid movie. Tim Burton has had a long working relationship with Disney. He used to work as an animator for Walt Disney Animation studios. Burton has also directed Alice in Wonderland. Ehren Kruger has written the script of the movie.

What is the cast for Dumbo?
Colin Farrell is going to play the role of Holt, the single father of two children from Kentucky. Danny DeVito will play Medici, who runs a small circus which gets taken over by big circus villain, Vandemere. And Michael Keaton is going to play Vandemere. He is the evil entrepreneur who takes Dumbo away for his Dreamland venture. And Eva Green is going to play the role of Colette, an aerial artist who is Vandmere’s employee.
DeObia Oparei is going to play the role of Rungo. He also played the role of a Dorne based bodyguard, Areo Hotah in Game of Thrones. And he also appeared in the sequel of Independence Day, Independence Day: Resurgence. On the other hand, Alan Arkin is playing the role of J. Griffin Remington, a Wall Street mogul that poses a threat to Dumbo. We know that Joseph Gett is in the movie, but we don’t know his role yet.
What is the release date for Dumbo?
Dumbo is going to release on 29 March 2019.
Dumbo movie plot
The official synopsis of the movie by Disney states the story of Medici, who tasks Holt Farrier and his family to take are of a baby elephant who has huge ears. This makes him an object of ridicule in an already drowning circus.
But, then they discover that Dumbo has magical flying powers. It marks the ultimate comeback of the circus. It also attracts the attention of Vandemere, who wants to start a huge entertainment venture, Dreamland. The magical elephant becomes a star alongside Colette. But, Holt soon learns that Dreamland has many secrets under its shiny surface.
