It is widely known for a fact no matter what, the Boruto anime and the manga have always received mixed reviews from the Naruto Fandom. With all due respect to their feelings and emotions surrounding Naruto, the fandom war sometimes turn into blind hatred toward the Boruto Anime and Manga series for nothing!

Boruto Anime Is Receiving Unnecessary Hatred From The Naruto Fandom
It seems like the Naruto Fandom is not happy with the latest developments going on in Boruto Anime. Neither with the plot nor with the characters or the animation.
However, Boruto fans have something else to say about this. It’s not that the characters in Naruto only relied on Kunai, Shuriken, and other ninja weapons. In fact, they had different kinds of Jutsus to accompany them in various ninja wars.
“Lol throw knives? They started to stop throwing knives when Team Dosu appeared in Chuunin Exam. Two of their members has body modification to allowed them to used sound based techniques. Also Naruto and Sasuke is the ones who throw the least amount of knives lol. Most of Naruto fans seems to forget this.”

The primary example would be Sasuke and Naruto using Chidori and Rasengan before Naruto: Shippuden.
There were many more weapons used in Naruto and Sasuke’s final battle than merely “knives.” The fight involved the simultaneous deployment of several jutsus, including Susanoo: Chidori and a Tailed Beast Ball.

Orochimaru, for example, has a massive reserve of chakras and performs powerful techniques with ease, even after being disabled.

The characters in Boruto anime utilize freshly updated methods and cyborg characters that shoot lasers from their fingers. While Naruto fans make fun of these methods, Boruto fans call out the “hypocrisy” of Naruto fans.
“Doesn’t really make it any less hypocritical. Except that none of the Otsutsuki has shown such thing so far… the closest is Momoshiki spamming jutsus that he had the ability to amplify. And maybe Toneri that one time he gained a super mode.”

If we are talking about technology, in Naruto, we had a lot of technological advancements, including Digital boards, CCTV cameras, ECG machines, and even air conditioners in typical homes and hotels.

So are we taking the hatred for Boruto a little too far? Well, it is certainly understandable to be nostalgic about the emotions revolving around the legendary anime Naruto, but, at the same time, we must not forget every story has a different flavor, and this series is only about Boruto. There is no harm in upgrading with time, is there?
