Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba’s episode 5 has been titled as “Final Selection” which will see Tanjirou participating in the last selection test where he becomes an official demon slayer. For him to pass the test, he needs to survive a forest filled with demons for full seven nights. Most candidates die during the last test but Tanjirou survives.
He went on to slay a few demons using his sword capable of killing the demons by slitting their throats.

Then he faced a monstrous demon who ate all students of the master of Tanjirou in the past. However, Tanjirou killed him too using his sword.

This episode will feature Tanjirou paint the last selection test, officially becoming a demon slayer. We will then get to know that only 3 participants out of 20 survive the test while all others die.
Tanjirou will then return to Nezuko and Urokodaki who both are extremely happy to see him as he survived and came back. Urokodaki embraces both the siblings following which we come across Tanjirou achieving his first mission as a verified demon slayer.
