As reported, it is expected that House Democrats might reopen Russian interference investigation file which is related to the collusion between President Donald Trump and Russian officials  during the election campaign of 2016, if they bag the position with majority in the election which is to be held in November.

The investigation was done by Republican-led Intelligence Committee which was closed later on as they were unable to find out any evidence about the collusion of Donald Trump and Russian officials.

According to Democrats, the Republicans have ignored many important facts and witnesses and so they wanted to restart the investigation in a more arranged manner. Few democrats are also worried about the political cost if they act cunningly.

It will be investigated that whether laundered money were used by the Russians for transactions with the organization related to Trump.

Trump’s business earned a lot of profit over the years from this Russian investment so Schiff wants to confirm whether this is the leverage that the Russians have over Trump.

The House Financial Services panel also wants to look into the matter of money laundering.

It is still not clear that whether Mueller is examining laundering of money related to Trump’s business.

More Witnesses

In the month of March , the Democrats issued a list of people who were not interviewed when the Russia investigation was closed. They mentioned that they have more documents related to the case.

More information were pushed about the president’s son, Donald Trump Junior and the telephonic conversation he had with his father. The phone record which was provided to Congress contains a blocked number for several days.

Protection For Robert Mueller

Mueller has been criticized by Trump many a number of times and Trump has called his investigation witch hunt.
