Netflix has announced the release date for Delicious in Dungeon Dub. Delicious in Dungeon Dub will be available to watch online for international audiences on January 4, 2023. The series will be available in English, Indonesian, Thai, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, and Hindi dubs.
The anime was released in Japan in July 2023, so international fans had been waiting for it to be released on streaming platforms for months. Bang Zoom Entertainment is responsible for producing the dub for this highly anticipated Winter 2024 anime. Netflix’s acquisition of the upcoming anime was indeed unexpected for many fans, especially considering the anticipation that Crunchyroll might secure the rights. However, Netflix has a history of collaborating with Studio Trigger, as seen with the licensing of titles like “Little Witch Academia,” “BNA: Brand New Animal,” and the Netflix original “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners,” developed by Trigger in collaboration with Projekt Red.
Adding to their anime lineup, Netflix secured the rights to “Delicious in Dungeon” six months ago, including the dubbing of the series. This collaboration between Netflix and Studio Trigger has built a history of bringing diverse and engaging anime content to a global audience.
