Crocs and Post Malone collaborate for new limited edition shoes

Rapper Post Malone and Crocs collaborate to create limited edition shoe that was sold out immediately after its launch. It took even less than a day for the shoe to be sold out. The Crocs was launched on Thursday and before you knew it, it was gone.

The Crocs have become very popular among the teens during the previous year. When Crocs made an announcement about its collaboration with Rapper Post Malone on Thursday, it immediately got everyone’s attention. The Dimitri Clog was launched along with custom designed Jibbitz charms of six kinds and cost around $60 and was available on their site crocs.com.

Terence Reilly, the Chief Marketing Officer of Crocs, said that Post Malone’s tweet about crocs got their attention.

We can see that Rapper Post Malone was the one who gave the company the amazing idea. It was amazing to see how quickly the limited edition crocs were sold. No one wanted to take any risks of missing the opportunity to lay their hands on this limited edition crocs.

Rapper Post Malone said on Instagram,

My first collab with @crocs is SOLD OUT already! go to link in my bio to get updates on future releases.

The biannual survey conducted by Piper Jaffray n teen preferences show that Crocs are at the 13th rank when it comes to footwear brands popular among the teens. This is a massive success for the company. In the previous year, the company was ranked 27th in the same category and before that in the Spring of 2017, they languished at 38th rank.

Comparing with the previous positions that the company held, this is a huge success for the company. The mind share of the company is now triple its historical average among the teens. Other notable brand gainers are Adidas, Lululemon and Vans.
