Manabu Ohtsuka, CEO of Mappa, is dissatisfied with Chainsaw Man Season 1’s success rate compared to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1. Despite Mappa investing a substantial amount of money in the Chainsaw Man Season 1 animation, Manabu Ohtsuka believes they failed to meet the fans’ expectations because home video sales were lower than expected.
